Domain Name Information

The domain name records for this store’s address shows us that it was registered in 2014 with less than a year left to run before renewal. Domain names which have been around for less time are frequently indicative of scam online pharmacies, and this one has been used for less than five years.

Domain Name Change

It is strange that they are using the .net version of this domain name. When we check, it does appear that they used to use the .com version but for some reason decided to stop and change to this domain name.

hoster changing

This is something which will have hurt their sales and could only have been done because they had no other option. It seems likely that their previous address was shut down by the authorities, the switch to the .net address doesn’t make sense otherwise.

Business Contact Details

They give the business name of the operators of this store as ‘My Canadian Pharmacy Corp.’ and an address in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The building they claim to operate this business from is an impressive set of offices clad in blue glass.

not this pharmacy

Strangely, there isn’t any mention of their business name on the sign outside of this office block, and it isn’t mentioned by Google either. There is a Japanese pharmaceutical business by the name of ‘Astellas’ based at this address but there seems to be no link between them.

We don’t really believe that this is a genuine business premises for the people who operate this pharmacy site. It seems to be used because it is an impressive location and would suggest to people that this is a reputable business, whereas in reality none of this is true.

As this is a fake address, they may not even be based in Canada and could be anywhere in the world.

Regulatory Approval

fakeThis online pharmacy makes strong claims to be Canadian, they even show a license from the Province of Ontario, College of Pharmacists of Ontario.

One of the problems with this certificate is that it is hosted on their own site, rather than the site of the issuing organization. The second problem is that the name of the organization is wrong. There isn’t an organization that goes by that name, the real name is the Ontario College of Pharmacists, not the College of Pharmacists of Ontario.not found

We can even check with them to see if this business is really registered with them.

This pharmacy business isn’t found in their database and isn’t registered. The certificate they show on their site is clearly fake and is just there to try to manipulate people into trusting the store.

A check with LegitScript shows that they are considered to be a rogue internet pharmacy by the reviewers. It is believed that they are in violation of the law for where they sell their medication.

MyCanadianOrders.net Reviews

There are a few MyCanadianOrders.net reviews on the front page of this online pharmacy. When we read through these testimonials there seems to be something amiss. They aren’t actually talking about the pharmacy and the service provided, instead, they talk about particular drugs and how well they work.

Since these customer testimonials don’t seem to be about this pharmacy, we check if the comments appear elsewhere. Selecting a section of one of the testimonials and placing it in inverted commas, gives us the results of where this exact combination of words can be found on other sites. It turns out that these comments are also on 125 other webpages and not original to this pharmacy.

Fake customer testimonies, like this, are a common feature we find on scam drugstores.

Conclusion

There are many things wrong with this online pharmacy. They don’t seem to be really based where they claim to operate from and the regulation certificate is fake. They are also using customer testimonials stolen from other sites and you run the very real risk of opening yourself up to fraud if you enter your credit card details on this insecure drugstore.

It is for these reasons, that we are only awarding this site 1-star out of a possible five. Don’t take the risk with this pharmacy!
