Domain Name Information

The domain name record for this domain shows to us that they have been online for less than 3 years. Shorter histories, increase the chances that a pharmacy is a scam in our experience.

3 years in business

There is some information about the ownership of the domain in the records. This tells us that they are owned by “PJ Pharmacy” located in Kashipur, India.

Business Profile

false infoThis pharmacy provides an address on their site. They say that they are located in New York, USA, which is a surprise given the information found in the domain name records.

Checking this address, we find an issue, however. The address they have provided doesn’t seem to exist, there is a 210 and 214, but no 212 found on Google Maps.

This appears to be a fake address and it seems likely that this is actually an Indian business and not the American pharmacy they claim to be. The use of fake addresses is common to scam pharmacies, as they want customers to think they are reputable when they are not.

The name for the business is given as “States Pharmacy Group” on the site. The name “PJ Pharmacy” also appears on the site which matches up with the domain records. It seems likely that “States Pharmacy Group” is a fake business name and “PJ Pharmacy” is the real owner of the store.

Related Pharmacies

The name “PJ Pharmacy” from India is associated with a few other pharmacies. These other stores also use addresses which appear to be fake and this isn’t a good sign.

Other stores operated by this business, that we know of, include:

Regulatory Accreditation

A US-based pharmacy should be regulated by the NABP (the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy) and its VIPPS program. There isn’t a seal from NABP which isn’t a surprise given that we don’t really believe that they are based in the US.

Checking with LegitScript show that they think this store is a rogue. Lacking the appropriate regulatory approval to sell medication where they do.

Medications Available

Best selling products on the store include:

  • Antibiotics
  • Pain relief
  • Diabetic
  • Men’s health

The pills they sell aren’t dispensed from the US as you may have been expecting given their address on the store. They use a number of different locations to dispatch their drugs, though they don’t provide this information on the product pages.

The pills could be dispatched from Turkey, Mauritius, New Zealand and presumably India as well. They don’t provide any details of the businesses which are dispatching your orders so there is no way to check that this is being done by properly regulated pharmacies. This leads to the fear that the drugs sold by this pharmacy are of a lower quality than you would want and that the site claims.

It does also mean that there is a risk of fake and counterfeit pills being sold by the store. Such medications could end up doing you far more damage to your health than helping.

Payment Methods

The site is secure and they provide a good range of payment options, these include:

  • Most credit cards
  • Debit cards
  • Paypal
  • E-check

Delivery is free when you spend more than $99 on products from this pharmacy. They offer shipping via express mail service and registered post. They don’t provide prices before you place an order on the site, however. Reviews

They don’t have a page for reviews on the site. We are also unable to find any customer comments on other websites. This suggests that the pharmacy doesn’t have many customers and leaves us in the dark as to how well they perform.

no reviews

We give just 1 star to this online pharmacy. There are many reasons for this, including the use of a fake address and business name, the lack of regulation and the risk of fake pills. This pharmacy is doing a lot to try to convince you that they are something they aren’t and they shouldn’t be trusted as a result.

There are also quite many online pharmacies on the net that have proved themselves to be excellent ones. We keep an eye on them as well. They get into our reviews from time to time, and you can see them on the pages of our site.

We have placed the best online pharmacies into a separate list on the Pharmacy Ratings page. Ratings of online pharmacies that have successfully passed verification and check by our team: Link>>>
