Domain Name Information
Details found in the domain name database can often be very revealing about how reliable a pharmacy is likely to be. The database entry for this domain shows that it was registered a long time ago in 2004. A domain of this age can often suggest that an online store will be more legitimate.
The information also shows that a privacy service has been used by the owner of this site to make sure that their contact details aren’t recorded in the database. This is often a feature we find with scam online pharmacies for obvious reasons.
Business Contact Details
The contact page of this store provides a mailing address as well as phone and fax numbers if you need to make contact with them. When checking the mailing address they provide we are surprised to find that it is a residential home and not an office location.
The use of a private address as a means of contact for this clearly doesn’t suggest that this is a very professional business. They also fail to provide a business name which may indicate that this operation is run by an individual.
An address is also given for the pharmacy which dispenses drugs from Canada on behalf of this store. The pharmacy is called AgarPharmacy Ltd with an address of 2400 Canoe Avenue, Coquitlam, Canada. A check of this address does show a pharmaceutical business at that location, it isn’t, however, the one mentioned on the store.
We would normally expect to find that a Canadian online pharmacy is registered with one of the Canadian regulatory associations. We don’t find that to be the case with this store and this is a concern.
There are many downsides to a pharmacy having a lack of regulation. It could mean that they aren’t as careful with patient information as they should be, for example.
The most well-known is CIPA also known as the Canadian International Pharmacy Association. When we check with them they confirm that this store isn’t registered with them.
Medicine on Sale
This store claims to offer over 2,200 different prescription drugs, they sell generic as well as brand name pills and offer coupon discounts. However, when you try to look at a product page you discover a rather major problem with this store. Some of the links to the product pages are broken while others redirect you to a different pharmacy site completely.
The pharmacy store Healthcare-24h.com is used to sell some of the drugs offered on the site. This other site, unfortunately, isn’t a very good store and bears all the hallmarks of being a scam.
We have seen many other pharmacy sites like this one which claims to be a Canadian drugstore. However, when you check their contact page they give a business address in Eastern Europe. How can this really be a Canadian drugstore? It isn’t, it’s a lie, it’s a scam.
Payment and Shipping
Canadian Pharmacy Choice claims to take payment by credit card or check but this doesn’t mean anything since they redirect you to a different site. The Healthcare 24h site accepts payment by Mastercard and Bitcoin.
Shipping is charged at $16.50 per order or rather it would be, if this store actually sold any products, instead of redirecting customers to another pharmacy.
When searching for CanadianPharmacyChoice.com reviews online we ran into a problem. That problem was that there doesn’t seem to be any. We were only able to find some details of a complaint on the Better Business Bureau site but no testimonials.
The investigation into this pharmacy store seemed to start off on a positive note, a long-running domain name is normally a very good thing to find. But it became apparent that this pharmacy site isn’t what it used to be. They no-longer sell medication themselves, instead, just redirecting customers to an unreliable fake Canadian pharmacy.
Everything seems to be pointing towards this pharmacy having stopped operating properly in 2016, and now it is just used to promote another site.
Bearing this in mind, we award this site just 1 star out of five.
POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVESThere are also quite many online pharmacies on the net that have proved themselves to be excellent ones. We keep an eye on them as well. They get into our reviews from time to time, and you can see them on the pages of our site.
We have placed the best online pharmacies into a separate list on the Pharmacy Ratings page. Ratings of online pharmacies that have successfully passed verification and check by our team: Link>>>
