Overview of TopRxOnlineMeds24.com
This online pharmacy has quite a limited range of drugs available. The biggest section of the site is dedicated to men’s health and contains 15 products.
The drugs on offer seem to contain many well-known brand name pills. In actual fact, the site only sells generic versions. So don’t order a brand name drug and expect to actually receive what you’ve ordered, you will only get generic pills.
One obvious issue when you first look at the store is that the main logo on the site is completely different to the domain name. The logo is for ‘Network Pills Store’ which is clearly unrelated to the website address.
In its favor, the site does have a couple of toll-free phone numbers if you are in the US. You can also contact the site by filling in a form or using the live chat feature (although this wasn’t working at the time of review).
Who Runs This Store?
The business name and address should be displayed on the site so that customers can get in touch and for the sake of accountability. There is no sign of the name or address of whoever operates this site anywhere to be found. It is a mystery as to who really operates this pill selling store.
Domain Name Information
The domain name was registered only last year and a privacy service from the domain registrar has been used to hide contact details. The domain was registered with a Dutch company which may indicate the owner has a link to the Netherlands.
There are many different associations which regulate the selling of drugs online. These associations protect the consumer by making sure the pills are dispensed with pharmacist oversight and that sensitive data is correctly handled.
LegitScript has taken a look at this online pharmacy and drawn the conclusion that they are a rogue site. This means that the site is likely in violation of rules and laws which exist to protect people when they buy medicine online.
When reading through the text on this site some of the phrases seemed very familiar. It turns out that the same text has been used on many different drugstore websites. The look of the online store may be different but the words are the same. We ran a check on some of the text and found it being used on 47 other scam sites.
You are able to make purchases from this store using Visa and Mastercard. The checkout page is secured with an SSL certificate as you would expect. They show logos for GeoTrust and Websafe Shield, you should be able to click on these to confirm they are genuine. It seems like these security logos are fraudulently used as they don’t link to the relevant sites.
You have two options for shipping. Express Mail costs $30 and can take up to 2 weeks, but you do receive a tracking number with this method. Registered mail costs $25 and will take around 2 to 3 weeks for your delivery. If you spend $600 you get free shipping in North America only. On the checkout page, you find there is an additional charge for delivery insurance of $7.95, it is optional, however.
Testimonials give you a good idea of how well a company performs. Consumers often trust these testimonials and take the information at face value. Unfortunately, scam online pharmacies use fake customer reviews to trick people into parting with their money. The TopRxOnlineMeds24.com reviews found on this particular drugstore are completely fake, designed to give you a sense of trust where there should be none.
When we run a search using part of the text from the first review, we discover that it turns up on nearly 10,000 other web pages. Very clearly these reviews are unoriginal and not to be trusted.
There is a lot wrong with this online drugstore and not much right with it, which is why we give them a 2-star rating. The reviews are fake, the text on the site is copied and they have no regulatory approvals. It isn’t completely hopeless though, they do have a secure site and offer toll-free phone numbers.
POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVESThere are also quite many online pharmacies on the net that have proved themselves to be excellent ones. We keep an eye on them as well. They get into our reviews from time to time, and you can see them on the pages of our site.
