Safegenericpharmacy.com is an online pharmacy that claims to be selling quality and over the counter drugs all over the world. They claim to be selling generic drugs at an affordable price and have a wide range of over-the-counter drugs as well as prescription drugs. They also claim that the drugs they sell are approved by the relevant authorities in the UK and US. However, when you dig deeper, you will found out that this information is contradicting and seem to put the website on a rogue website.

The company claims to offer protection to its customers shopping online. And many shoppers visit websites that protect their private information. This is why most shops online have an SLL certification to ascertain that they are secure. The website has a secure connection evident at the upper left corner of the website. This means that your credit card numbers, passwords and other crucial information is secured and can’t be accessed by fraudsters.
However, as we delved deep into their SSL certification, we realized they don’t use the highest level of protection. They instead use 128-bit encryption for data protection which is fairly good. Though, we couldn’t find any information about the owner of the certificate and therefore becomes difficult to trust their reliability.
The domain was registered four years ago and refreshed on August 3, 2018. Most shady and scam websites don’t last more than a year. With this, you can maybe say that the website is legit. The website also has the owner publicly displayed and information about their location available. They also have a working phone number and email addresses as well as a physical address. The website domain is from India but has its physical locations in the US.
Approvals from Regulatory Agencies
The pharmacy is not CIPA approved and therefore not legally allowed to sell drugs. They could be selling counterfeit drugs or drugs that are not up to standards.
When running through legitscript.com, the results reveal that the website is a rogue pharmacy. It does not adhere to the accepted pharmacy or medical practice. It may also be involved in deceptive or fraudulent practices. By selling or prescribing drugs online, they appear to intentionally violate applicable regulations of the sale of drugs as described by the law.
The website doesn’t have any page that provides shipping options. This can be quite risky for a website that claims to sell drugs worldwide. How will you get your drugs if they haven’t specified the type of shipping?
Usually, this information is found on the payment option or in the FAQ section. But a look at the website through the FAQ section and the payment option, we couldn’t find any detailed information of the shipping methods they offer. They also don’t have information about shipping fees and the countries they ship to. They have highlighted only four countries they don’t ship (Canada, Mexico, Italy, and Germany). This is very inconvenient, and the only way to know if it ships to your area is by contacting their support.
The website has several payment options. They allow PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and bank wire transfer. You get this information from the FAQ section. But when you order drugs online, the website only gives you two options for payment. Initially, they only had bank wire transfer as their mode of payment. They recently added debit cards to their mode of payment but left out the other two options that are listed on their website. Therefore, you can only pay through credit/debit card or bank wire transfer- as opposed to the four they have highlighted.
We have checked the external reviews and can say that there are a lot of positive comments. Negative ones include using credit card twice or lost parcels.
In general, the website looks good. However, there are a few factors that led us into believing the website is a scam. The website first doesn’t have a valid owner. Also, the products they sell are not CIPA approved. This can be quite dangerous to consumer’s health as you do not know the authenticity of the drugs.
The website should have allowed several modes of payments like any other online website. Also, the website has no live chat meaning they don’t have a quick response to their customer’s queries. It is therefore important that you transact from the website with caution. In fact, due to the nature of the drugs, we advise you not to buy from them. This is the reason we rate the pharmacy with 2 stars.
