Pharmcom.com features a superior website design and product selection which is second to none; however, online drugstores must be regulated, highly recommended and be run by individuals whose identity is known before we recommend them. There’s much more to a legit online drugstore. Pharmcom hasn’t satisfied our bare minimum and here’s why;

Domain Information

According to whois.com, Pharmcom.com was registered on 8th September 1998. The domain was last updated on 30th August 2018. Although the domain has been around for more than two decades, the information about the registrar is hidden by a domain privacy service. A domain that is this old shouldn’t have concealed information in our opinion. However, the site has a physical address according to the About Us page.

Related and Mirror Sites

Mirror sites are a sign that an online drugstore is part of an affiliate marketing scam. From our investigations, we didn’t find Pharmcom to have related sites or be part of an affiliate marketing scam. The site’s contact information and physical address aren’t associated with any other sites according to our investigations.

Business Profile

Pharmcom trades under the Pharmcom International business name with a physical address in Auckland, New Zealand. Unlike most fraudulent online stores, the pharmacy has a business name and a physical address. However, the site has been labeled suspicious according to Scamadviser for appearing to be based in the Asia Pacific. The probable website origin is in question. The probability of the website being based in New Zealand is 78%.

We may know the trading name and physical address of the drugstore; however, there is something suspicious about the origin of the website.

Regulatory Approval

Online pharmacies are regulated by notable bodies like LegitScript, CIPA, NABP and Pharmacy Checker. Although Pharm Com doesn’t have seals of any of these regulators on the website homepage, we would expect an online pharmacy that has been around for two decades to have all the necessary regulatory approvals. Surprisingly, Pharmcom is missing in LegitScript’s database. The same is true when we checked CIPA’s NABP and Pharmacy Checker’s databases. The website information also omits regulatory information. We find this very suspicious and don’t advise anyone to buy any medication from an online drugstore that has questionable regulatory approval.

Products

Pharmcom’s product selection is impressive with all kinds of medication from allergy and cough medicine to natural health/wellness products. You can get just about any medication/health/wellness product you can find in a traditional pharmacy and more. However, we suspect the quality of products is low since the pharmacy doesn’t have regulatory approval.

Pricing

Pharmcom has competitively priced products. Although the pharmacy isn’t the cheapest online, you can find great deals. However, what’s a good price when the quality of whatever you are buying is questionable?

Payment and Shipping

Transactions with the pharmacy are converted into $NZD as per the current rate. For this reason, customers can incur some currency exchange costs. In regards to payment options, you can pay for medication bought on Pharmcom using Visa or MasterCard.

In regards to shipping, the pharmacy charges a flat rate ($10). Orders above $100 attract free shipping. Orders are dispatched in 1-2 days. It takes 6 to 12 working days for Pharmcom orders to arrive.

PharmCom.com Reviews

Pharmcom doesn’t have a special section on the website dedicated to testimonials. Rogue online drugstores are guilty of posting fake reviews on dedicated sections in their sites in an effort to inspire trust. Pharmcom hasn’t done this. However, online reviews aren’t so good. On Scamadviser for instance, the drugstore has an equal share of good and bad reviews.

On review sites like TrustPilot which is known to post verified reviews, Pharmcom doesn’t have any reviews. It’s highly unlikely for a site aged 20+ years to lack a reviews profile in one of the most popular online reviews sites.

Conclusion

We aren’t convinced that Pharmcom is a legitimate online drugstore despite the fact that the online store has been around for 20 years. We are disappointed we didn’t find any evidence supporting regulatory approval. Although the site has a verifiable physical address and business name, we need more information. As a result, we are forced to rate Pharmcom 2 out of 5 stars.
