Service Offered by this Pharmacy
This online pharmacy operates in a different way to most others out there. First and foremost, this site provides a doctor consultation and private prescription service. You are then able to have a pharmacy of your choice ship the medication to you or have it ready for you to collect in person.
Domain Name Information
Longer-lived domain name registrations tend to suggest a more reliable and stable business. This domain was first registered in 2010 and this is a fairly long amount of time for online pharmacies to be around.
Business Contact Details
The business name and address are easily found on this site. The business name – FMC Marketing Limited – is found in the footer section of every page of the store. As too is the registered business address which is shown to be in the UK.
A check on the British Government Companies House database shows us that this is a genuine correctly registered business.
They give a second address on their contact page if you need to write to them. This is a different location but does seem to be a genuine office location in London.
Regulatory Approval
This pharmacy is based in the UK and therefore has to abide by the EU regulations for selling medicine online. Part of this regulation requires that they display the common EU distance selling logo on every page which sells medical supplies for human consumption. They are correctly displaying the logo as they should.
They are also required to be registered with a European Government agency which oversees medical regulation. A check with the British Government agency, the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) confirms that they are correctly registered and operating legally.
The doctor service which is the foundation of this business is regulated separately from the pharmacy. They are regulated by the Care Quality Commission, which regularly visits the offices of this business to audit their service, checking that they are sticking to all the rules. They last passed an audit in May 2018
and you are able to read the findings of the inspection on the CQC site.
Despite meeting these regulations the store is given an unapproved rating from LegitScript.
Medications Available
The range of medication is fairly limited on this site. The reason for this is down to the type of treatments the doctor service is able to write prescriptions for. The prescriptions are only available on medication where the risk is considered low so that you don’t need to physically visit a doctor to gain a prescription.
Treatments include weight loss, acne, allergies, antimalarial, men’s health and hair loss. The prescription charge is added to the price of the medication and this charge is reduced by £7.50 for every additional order you place with this company.
Payment and Shipping
You can pay for prescriptions and medication from this store using credit and debit cards as well as check or postal order. The site is secured with the correct site certificates to keep you safe when completing transactions.
Drugs are dispatched the same day provided you place your order before 12.00AM. Delivery is next day and shipping is by Royal Mail. Delivery costs are dependent on location and dispensing pharmacy, you can choose to collect your medication from any of the 600 affiliated pharmacies if you wish.
PharmaDoctor.co.uk Reviews
It has been more difficult than expected to find PharmaDoctor.co.uk reviews. For a site which has been around for nearly nine years, you would expect more customer feedback to be posted online. We have only been able to find a very small amount of testimonials, though they are mostly good.
This comment from a user on MyWOT is typical, praising the speed of delivery and good service. This feedback seems to be genuine and from a legit customer.
Conclusion
This online pharmacy offers a correctly regulated service which includes a doctor consultation. This regulation ensures that the service is safe and you are able to contact the doctor if you have any concerns. This is all great but there are a few issues which prevent us from giving them the top rating, so we award this online doctor service and pharmacy, 4 stars out of 5.

POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVES
There are also quite many online pharmacies on the net that have proved themselves to be excellent ones. We keep an eye on them as well. They get into our reviews from time to time, and you can see them on the pages of our site.We have placed the best online pharmacies into a separate list on the Pharmacy Ratings page. This is a terrible service. I did a consultation, including a two week symptom diary every day. It was very difficult to complete and get the consultation code that I needed. Then I started phoning from their list of participating pharmacies. There are five of these in Leeds. NOT ONE had even HEARD of pharmadoctor. I have spent hours trying to explain it to them all.
What a waste of time.
Thank you for your comment. What an awful situation it was! Did you choose another service for the consultation after that?
