OnlineCanadianPharmacy.com is a drugstore which claims to save you between 50 and 80 percent the cost of medicine from a US pharmacy. They say they have been operating this business since 2002, but is this really true? Our investigation into this online pharmacy uncovers the truth behind the marketing copy.
|About Domain Name|
|Name||Granville Pharmacy Ltd.|

|Free Shipping Option||yes|
This online pharmacy provides a wide range of products to medicate a large range of ailments. They say they take pride in providing safe and affordable treatments to over 100,000 customers. Prescriptions are required to be sent or faxed to them where necessary. They do work with a Canadian pharmacy but also dispense pills from the US, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, India, Turkey and Mauritius.
The pharmacy may be safe, but are the drugs really that cheap? Despite selling generic versions as well as brand drugs and dispatching from all over the world, the prices aren’t particularly good.
Whilst these prices may be more reasonable than buying in a real-world US pharmacy, they clearly aren’t the current cheapest option online.
The site has the latest news blog section to provide medical advice to customers. Unfortunately, this hasn’t been updated since 2011, so not really the latest news at all then.
Who Owns OnlineCanadianPharmacy.com?
The business name and address of the company behind this site is given on the contact page. The site is operated by Granville Web Services and an address is also given for the Canadian pharmacy backing this site.
There are multiple mentions of the founder and owner of the site, throughout. Her name is Dawn Polley, she is a licensed pharmacist and a previous President of CIPA, the Canadian International Pharmacy Association.
Domain Name Records
The domain name was registered in 2002. This is a really good sign of a safe and trustworthy website. Online scammers tend not to have very long lasting websites, for obvious reasons. So over 16 years is clear evidence that they are a legit business. They have chosen to use a privacy service to hide their details, however.
Regulatory approvals from country-specific agencies provide consumers with a more trustworthy and reliable service. Online Canadian Pharmacy shows seals from two regulatory associations on their homepage; CIPA and IPABC, though they are also registered on PharmacyChecker.com.
It shouldn’t be a surprise to learn that these approvals are correct since the President of the company was previously the head of CIPA.
LegitScript.com has reviewed this online drugstore but doesn’t give them an entirely clean bill of health with only an unapproved rating. This means they don’t meet some of LegitScript’s verification standards.
Credit cards can be used to purchase drugs from this retailer. They claim to have taken every effort to make sure their site is secure and do have a valid site security certificate. They also have a shopping guarantee from Norton which protects you against identity theft and failures to deliver.
They only supply drugs to the US market. Shipping costs $9.95 and will take between 2 and 4 weeks. There is a free shipping offer for new customers who are buying prescription medication.
Customer feedback can be a useful means of understanding if the company you want to buy from is actually likely to supply what your purchase. Testimonial pages on pharmacy sites frequently feature fake reviews copied across multiple sites, to try to mislead you into placing trust in the site. The OnlineCanadianPharmacy.com reviews found on the testimonial page of this pharmacy don’t seem to be fake.
A search for part of the first review does, however, find that text on three other online pharmacy sites. On closer inspection, the reviews on the other sites are slightly different, and the sites themselves don’t look very old or legit. This may suggest that customer testimonials have been copied from the Online Canadian Pharmacy site and posted elsewhere.
There are many good things to say about OnlineCanadianPharmacy.com. They have regulatory approvals from three different associations and are backed by a genuine pharmacy store. They have a very long running history of operating an online pharmacy and business details are correctly displayed on the site. We are, however, only giving them 4-stars out of five. Though they seem to be a safe, legit pharmacy, they are being marked down for their high prices and for not keeping their latest news section current.
POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVESThere are also quite many online pharmacies on the net that have proved themselves to be excellent ones. We keep an eye on them as well. They get into our reviews from time to time, and you can see them on the pages of our site.
We have placed the best online pharmacies into a separate list on the Pharmacy Ratings page. Ratings of online pharmacies that have successfully passed verification and check by our team: Link>>>
