Domain Name Information
The domain database shows that this website address was registered a long time ago. The store has been around since 2000 and this suggests it is less likely to be a scam than a more recent pharmacy. This store will have a long track record of successfully providing pharmacy services, else otherwise would have been closed down or gone out of business long ago.
Business Contact Information
This pharmacy gives an address in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. When checking this address it appears to be a pharmacy retail outlet. This is a good sign of a reliable business.
The BBB page reveals that the business only has one employee strangely, gives the hours when they are open as well as phone and fax numbers. These things tend to indicate that this is a legit business.
When looking to LegitScript for their opinion on the business we find that they have given an unapproved rating. This means that, while not the worst possible rating, this pharmacy doesn’t meet all of the requirements set out by LegitScript to determine that they are a trustworthy business.
Medication on Offer
This store is selling brand as well as generic pills from their site. The drugs are dispensed from locations in Canada and the UK which they claim are properly regulated. The prices found on the site aren’t the cheapest we’ve seen online, however.
They do require a valid prescription which you will need to forward to them before they will dispense. This is good and shows the pharmacy is following the rules that keep patients safe.
This pharmacy business has been around for a long time and it certainly shows with their website. The site isn’t a very modern design and while this isn’t the easiest site to use because of that, it still does function as a pharmacy site. It appears that this design hasn’t been changed for at least 10 years and does contain a few broken links, the link to their YouTube channel being one of them.
The fact that this website hasn’t been updated for around 10 years suggests that they don’t get many customers. If a business gets a lot of customers through their site they won’t want to neglect it as has happened here.
Payment and Shipping
The process of ordering from this pharmacy isn’t very straightforward or modern. You will have to either post, fax or email documents to the pharmacy before they will dispense your meds. When you have got all the information together you are able to pay using:
- international money order
- cashier’s check
This pharmacy has a free shipping offer for a customer’s first order. Additional orders will cost $15 to ship and they say that it can take several weeks for your meds to arrive. You do need to factor in the time it will take for them to process and receive your documents in this, however.
When looking for CanPD.com reviews it has been rather difficult to find any except for on the pharmacy’s own pages. This is surprising considering how long the business has been operating.
The testimonials found on the site seem to be from people who are suffering from the same illness and they seem to be genuine comments.
When reading the expanded comments they are from people buying drugs for cancer treatments, and it seems like the pharmacy has saved them a lot of money.
Ideally, we would rather find customer testimonials on independent websites as that is likely to show a more measured account of the pharmacy. Testimonial pages on the pharmacy’s own site are naturally going to only normally contain positive feedback. Negative comments won’t be uploaded as they could put potential customers off.
While this pharmacy does, on the whole, seem safe, there are a number of issues which may put people off ordering from them. They could do with more transparency over where the pills are dispensed from and regulation, as well as updating their site.
On the positive side, they do seem to be legit and have been operating the business for a very long time online. We award them 3 stars out of 5.
