Reviews – Stuck in a Time Warp

common view is an online drugstore which claims you can save 80% on prescription drugs with them. They also say they have the capability to fill 5000 prescriptions per day. We look into this store to try to find out if this is a reliable place to buy medication online.

Domain Name Information

The domain name record tells us that this address was first registered in 2005. Such a long domain name history such as this is more likely to suggest a legit store, however, there is an issue here. The copyright information on the site says 2004, but we know that the domain was registered a year later. Did they use a different domain name previously or is this a mistake?

work since 2005

Web Platform

phone and fax numbersAs we have already mentioned, the copyright for the site says 2004 and this is very believable based on the design of the store. This online pharmacy looks like it is stuck in a time warp, using an out-of-date design which should have been updated years ago.

Business Contact Details

On the contact page of this store, they supply us with a couple of addresses. It is good to know where an online pharmacy is based and it gives you more trust in the business. The first address is on a commercial estate in Markham, Ontario, Canada.

When we check for further information about this address we discover that there is a pharmacy located at that address. The drugstore occupying unit 15 at that location is actually named AMB Wholesale.

This business is an independently owned pharmacy which has been operating since 2005 and would seem to be the owner of the Canada International Rx store.

Regulatory Approval

The regulation of online pharmacies should make sure you are safer when shopping for medication online. This drugstore is based in Canada but doesn’t claim to have the normal Canadian regulatory association memberships. They aren’t registered with the main Canadian association, CIPA, for example.

We have discovered, however, that the business behind the store, AMB Wholesale, does have a Canadian Government license to operate as a pharmacy.

This pharmacy has an unapproved rating from LegitScript. Though not ideal, this isn’t as bad as it could be.

Medication on Offer

This drugstore offers a good range of medicines. They sell both generic and brand name versions of most well know drugs. Drugs are not only dispatched from Canada, but also the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. They claim that using distribution centers around the world reduces the costs, and while this may be true, the prices shown on their site are far from the cheapest we’ve seen.

from different countries

They do require you to provide a prescription for the medication you need. This is a good indication of a legit online pharmacy.

This store will accept;

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • International money order
  • E-check

The store, however, isn’t secure and it could be dangerous to enter your financial information. You are required to sign up as a member to order, so it is possible that the member’s section is secured as it should be.

Delivery charges and times vary based on your location. If you are in Canada regular shipping costs $7 and will take 2 to 5 days, if you need it in a rush they charge $17.50 with delivery in 24 to 48 hours.

If you are in the US the charge for shipping is $17.50 with delivery in 5 to 10 days for a refill or 10 to 15 days for a new order. Delivery to other countries will cost $39 and take 2 to 3 weeks, there is a rush service which could get your medication to you in as little as a week, but they don’t quote the price of this service on the store. Reviews

For an online pharmacy which has been online since 2005, it is a surprise that we have been unable to find any reviews. There is a page on Trustpilot but it has no customer testimonials and remains unclaimed by the pharmacy.

no reviews

Lack of feedback, for what is clearly a very well established store, is a concern. It may just be that the site has never had many customers, but to find no comments means that we have no idea how well they perform.

This online pharmacy has clearly been around for a long time and doesn’t seem to be a scam, but some concerns remain. The confusion over the date the site was established, for example. There is also the issue of the lack of customer feedback and it is for these reasons, that we award this store 3 stars out of a possible 5.

There are also quite many online pharmacies on the net that have proved themselves to be excellent ones. We keep an eye on them as well. They get into our reviews from time to time, and you can see them on the pages of our site.

We have placed the best online pharmacies into a separate list on the Pharmacy Ratings page. Ratings of online pharmacies that have successfully passed verification and check by our team: Link>>>
