Reviews – A Sophisticated Deception

common view is an online pharmacy which claims to be 100% transparent in the way it operates. They also claim to have a medical advisor with 44 years experience on their staff. We delve into the details of this drugstore to find some alarming problems with these claims.

Domain Name Information

The domain name records show that this site has been around since 2016 and it also shows that a privacy service in Russia has been used to hide the real owner’s contact information. This is the sort of behavior you normally expect from scam pharmacies, so things aren’t looking too great to start with.

Business Contact Information

It is normal to expect at least the business address as well as the business name to be present on a reliable online drugstore. When looking at this pharmacy store we are unable to find these contact details. It is implied that the owners of the store are US based and a name is given but we have no way of checking that this is a real name. It is also strange that if the owners are really in the US, why have they used a domain registrar in Russia?

the site involves a high risk country

Medication on Offer

This online pharmacy is unusual in that they only have one product on offer. They exclusively restrict themselves to selling Provigil, as the domain name suggests. Though unlike the domain name would have you believe, they do not require you provide a prescription to make a purchase. This, even though, it is a prescribed medicine in the US.

Regulatory Approval

Regulation of online pharmacies is there to keep patients safe from scam online pharmacies. However, this online pharmacy shows no evidence of being approved to sell medicine. Part of the problem here is that we don’t know exactly where this business is based and so don’t know what regulation they should be following.

They do make mention that the drug for sale is approved by the FDA, and this is correct. Though we have no idea what standards are really being followed by this business if any.

Doctor Review

The ‘About’ page on the site gives the name of a doctor which has reviewed the contents and regularly updates the information. The doctor concerned is called the co-founder of the online pharmacy and has an impressive list of relevant achievements.

This doctor does seem to be a real person based in Texas, however, the address they give for him is in Los Angeles. When checking this address we discover it is fake. The street ‘Park Drive’ is in LA but it doesn’t have the ZIP code they give on the site. Park Drive is in 90026 but they give the ZIP code 90017. Also, the numbering on the street doesn’t quite go as high as the address given for the doctor. If it was just one problem you could perhaps put it down to an error, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

Payment and Shipping

You can purchase Provigil from this site using Mastercard, E-check and Western Union. Wiring money to people you don’t know isn’t a recommended practice, as there is no way to claim the money back if something goes wrong.

Express delivery is used to ship pills to you and this will cost you $30. You can expect the delivery to arrive in 10 to 12 business days. Free shipping is available on orders over $300 and all orders have tracking available. Reviews

Customer reviews can provide you with an insight into how well particular online pharmacies really perform. Customer feedback has the power to convince you to make a purchase or steer you away from an unreliable drugstore. There are problems with customer reviews, however. Some scam online pharmacies post fake reviews to their sites to try to convince you that buying from them is a great choice.

When looking for reviews online we can only find customer feedback posted to the pharmacy itself. There are two pages of positive reviews posted over the last four months and this seems somewhat unlikely.

When we search using part of one of the reviews we discover that these comments have been posted elsewhere on other sites. It seems clear that the owners of this online pharmacy have stolen these comments as they are dated more recently than elsewhere.

It appears that the owners of this online pharmacy have gone to great lengths to deceive people visiting their store. Not only do they have fake reviews but the name and photo of a real doctor with a fake address. If the doctor mentioned on their site, really has an involvement then he would be operating outside of the law in a public manner, so this seems unlikely.

This is the reason for our 1-star rating of this pharmacy. Don’t let yourself be deceived by this scam.
