YourMD.ca is a pharmacy platform that offers safe and secure access to healthcare. They offer an easy way to get prescriptions which will then be filled by the pharmacy of your choice. While this might seem great, we’ve found a few problems.

Domain Name Information
Checking the database shows that this pharmacy hasn’t been registered for too long. Since they have only been registered for a little over a year, there is a greater risk this pharmacy could be a scam.
The domain has been registered using a Canadian registrar, though there are no contact details of the owner found in the database. This information has been redacted for privacy and doesn’t help us understand where the owner is really located.
Website Problems
While this pharmacy hasn’t been online for too long, we would have expected them to have checked that it was working correctly by now. We very quickly found broken links and sample text that should have been removed as the website was constructed.
If the pharmacy can’t even get this basic stuff right, you have to wonder if they get customers’ medical orders correct.
Business Contact Details
The pharmacy does not display a business address or even a business name anywhere that can easily be found on their website. This is a bad sign and could indicate the pharmacy isn’t legit which could cause problems for patients.
It is possible to find an address for this pharmacy on a different website. This tells us the pharmacy is located in Toronto, Canada. Though when we check these details we discover a problem.
The pharmacy is using a PO box address located in a USP store. This is not what we expected to find and greatly increases the chances that the pharmacy is a scam.
Regulatory Approval
The pharmacy displays a seal from a LegitScript on their site. However, when we look at this seal it is clear that it is out of date. The date 09/13/20 is provided on the seal, and a check with LegitScript themselves confirms that the pharmacy currently isn’t approved by them.
This drugstore should not be currently displaying the LegitScript logo on their site, but the fact that they are when it has expired is not a good sign.
Treatments Available
They offer a number of different treatment options that allow you to skip the doctor’s waiting room to get the treatment you need. Medication treatments available include:
- Hair loss
- Birth control
- Acne
- Men’s health
The pharmacy offers a doctor’s consultation after you have filled out a form with your symptoms. This is a telemedicine service where you will need to have a video conference call with the health professional.
This telemedicine service is only available to Canadian residents in certain provinces. Current availability is in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. They will not ship medications anywhere else, and this is actually a good sign that they could be legit.
The pharmacy is somewhat unclear on how much is doctor consultation will actually cost. While they say that it will be free, they also quote fees of 40 Canadian dollars for the initial visit, or $60 if you have multiple health issues that you want addressed.
The prescription will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice to be filled.
Payment and Shipping
The store is secure, and the cost of your consultation may be reimbursable by your health plan.
Shipping from this pharmacy will depend on the location you choose to dispense your medications.
YourMD.ca Reviews
The pharmacy links to their Trustpilot page, but we cannot find any YourMD.ca reviews there. We’ve only been able to find one customer review anywhere and they don’t even leave a message, just giving the pharmacy 5 stars.
This makes it seem that the pharmacy hasn’t had many customers, though this isn’t too surprising given their recent entry into the market.
Conclusion
On the face of it, this pharmacy looks very professional, but when we digger a little deeper, we’ve uncovered problems that should concern potential customers of the store. Their pharmacy accreditation has expired, they don’t provide a real business address, and we have no idea who is operating the store.
Despite these problems, you should be safe using this pharmacy since they dispense medications from a pharmacy of your choice. So we give them 3 stars.
